Do You Feel Safe Enough to be Completely Yourself at Work?

Virtual teams need to make a mindful effort to stay connected and engaged. In this video excerpt, Global Office and GO Virtual Assistants Founder Matt Kesby introduces the tribe to a new series of conversations about how we can all feel safer and unleash our potential at work.

GO-VA is a managed operations business based in Cebu, Philippines that connects growth-stage businesses with the highly skilled team members they need to scale.

Be Patient - Go Virtual Assistants (GO-VA)

Here’s some kind and helpful advice from Mark Goulston, the psychiatrist and business coach who wrote “Just Listen” (2010): “If you’re breaking unproductive habits or creating good ones, keep this rule in mind: it takes between three and four weeks for a new behavior to become a habit, and it takes about 6 months for that habit to become second nature. Be patient with yourself.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our Project Manager Kyren (in photo) is known for practicing many fantastic habits, including the habit of communicating precisely and promptly with everyone she works with. Next time you find yourself getting impatient with the progress you’re making with a new habit, pause, take some deep breaths, and remind yourself to be patient. No one becomes a master overnight!

What stories are you telling your communities?

How are you connecting to them in increasingly more crowded digital spaces?

Understanding how their priorities and choices have changed will be the key.

At Go Virtual Assistants, we believe people deserve to feel like they’re winning. And that includes business owners who have built something so remarkable that a larger community needs to find out about them. We can help.
